 “The Last Time” adalah sebuah lagu rekaman dari penyanyi rekaman berkebangsaan Amerika Serikat Taylor Swift, di ambil dari album studio ke Empatnya, Red. Salah satu dari dua kaloborasi pada album, lagu ini berduet (featuring) bersama Gary Lightbody dari Snow Patrol. Lagu ini ditulis oleh Swift, Lightbody dan Sang Produser Jacknife Lee. “The Last Time” adalah sebuah Rock Alternatif dengan pengaruh dari Country dan Folk. Lagu ini telah ditambahkan kedalam daftar putar Stasiun Radio Britania Raya, BBC Radio2 pada 19 Oktober 2013. 

LATAR BELAKANG DAN KOMPOSISI

Pada album, ‘The Last Time’ datang setelah lagu ‘Stay Stay Stay’. Swift memilih untukberkaloborasi dengan beberapa Produser pada Album. Salah satunya adalah Kalobarasi ‘The Last Time’ yang diProduseri oleh Jacknife Lee, yang dikenal bekerja dengan Snow Patrol dan U2.

‘The Last Time’ adalah Ballad Penuh yang penggambarannya lebih utama ke Musik Rock Alternatif dengan memasukkan elemen Musik Country dan Musik Folk. Lagu ini mendapatkan gelar sebagai ‘Represent a darker tone’ pada  Red dari seorang Kirtikal Musik Joseph Atilano dari The Phillippine Inquirer.

Musik Video dari Lagu ini Premiere pertama kali pada 15 November 2013 pada VEVO dan YouTube. Sama Seperti musik video RED, musik video lagu ini diambil dari Salah Satu Tur Konser Red.
